The IMA Health Protection Scheme was established to support IMA members in meeting the rising cost of treatment for serious and life-threatening illnesses. Adopted by the Central Council of IMA, the scheme reflects our collective responsibility to safeguard members during medical emergencies.

IMA National Health Scheme
Adopted on 27th December in the 75th meeting of Central Council of IMA at Ahmadabad, Gujarat. It came into force in January 2015, with an aim to help IMA members to meet heavy expenses for the management of serious illnesses. In the current health scenario, the cost of investigations and treatment are bound to increase, making this scheme essential for financial security.
IMA members, Spouses, Parents and Children can join the scheme provided they are aged below 80 years at the time of joining. IMA members shall be members and others shall be beneficiary members.
